The Medanets app is currently being used in nearly 20 hospital districts, approximately 40 hospitals, 10 health centres and almost 450 wards. Healthcare professionals create more than 2 million entries every month with the app.

In July 2020, the Medanets app gave healthcare professionals more than 42,000 hours of extra time to care for their patients. We believe that this extra time has helped save lives.

Kuopio University Hospital ended up shifting to mobile patient data browsing and recording in order to streamline the work flow and improve both patient safety and care quality.

Jyväskylä Region streamlines daily nursing routines by transferring measurement results from patient monitors directly into the EHR.

Satakunta Hospital District

Pori Region introduced Medanets app for nurses in 2015. The introduction of Medanets has made risk assessments a significant part of daily patient care.

The Lapland Central Hospital is the only hospital to use the Esko Electronic Health Record that utilises the Medanets mobile point-of-care app.

Kanta-Häme Hospital District

Hämeenlinna Region is one of the first customers of Medanets. Since 2011, the mobile devices and app version have been updated to provide additional comfort for nursing.

Welfare District of Päijät-Häme

Lahti Region manages nursing documentation and alarms from a nurse call system and medical devices on smartphones.


Lappeenranta Region is reforming and developing its processes with mobile solutions. The K wing, completed in 2018, has enjoyed the benefits brought by mobile solutions as well.


Kokkola Region introduced Medanets’ mobile nursing app in 2017. Later, the use of the solution has been expanded.

The implementation was successful in cooperation with Medanets, who trained nurses on the spot in the wards.
