As our company and the team continue to grow, we realised the need for someone who could focus primarily on supporting our people and nurturing our workplace culture. So, at the start of August, we were delighted to welcome Helena to Medanets as our new HR Coordinator.
In her role, Helena is responsible for developing and coordinating both new and existing HR processes, handling day-to-day administrative tasks, supporting staff well-being, and assisting our team leads with recruitment and other people-related matters.
Helena had already worked with Medanets on digital marketing projects, so she was familiar with the company and some of the people here. This made joining the team a natural next step and helped her settle in quickly.
Her new position allows her to bring together her expertise in both business and healthcare. With backgrounds in business administration and physiotherapy, Helena is well-equipped to navigate the world of health tech. In her previous role at a company developing workplace wellbeing apps, she was responsible for customer relationships and sales—so promoting employee wellbeing is already close to her heart, though she’s now approaching it from a different angle. Helena also brings wide-ranging experience across sales, marketing, customer service, and healthcare. She says:
I feel like I’ve really found a role that lets me make use of both my business and wellbeing experience. I get to work with people, but I also love diving into information and improving processes—like developing documentation workflows. That combination really energises me! It’s still early days, but I’m excited to get stuck in and drive things forward. And honestly, the team here is just fantastic!”
Outside of work, Helena enjoys spending time in nature with her camera or on a hike, exploring music and dance, or relaxing with family and friends.
