Mikko Halla-aho joins the SD team with the goal of helping customers

Mikko joined Medanets in early February. He is motivated by the opportunity to see the results of his work in customers’ daily activities. Therefore, we believe that Mikko’s role in the Medanets Service & Delivery team is a true match!

Mikko graduated with a degree in engineering in 2012 and has more than 10 years of experience with various pieces of medical device software. His roles have varied from tester to software designer and release manager. In 2023, Mikko completed a Master’s Degree Programme in Well-being Digital Service Expertise.

“The studies in the master’s degree programme, in particular, made me interested in the type of work where I get to witness the product being used and how it functions from the end user’s point of view,” says Mikko. “Some of the best moments of my career have been the moments where I can actually see the result of my work in the real user environment, being used by the customer.” That is where Medanets comes in. Mikko’s tasks in the S&D team include helping customers in Helpdesk and providing on-site user training.

When starting to look for a new job, Mikko’s previous coworker told him about a potential opening at Medanets. “I was familiar with Medanets as I had been keeping an eye on them for a while. I feel very welcome here. My coworkers are really nice and there’s variety in my duties,” says Mikko.

During his free time, Mikko enjoys nature. He spends time outdoors with his two Labradors, Osku and Pugi, who love to join him for hunting, mushroom picking and hiking. Cycling and gaming are also some of Mikko’s favourite hobbies.

Mikko, Osku and Pugi send their best regards to all the customers, partners and news readers of Medanets!
