Clinical photos in the right place at the right time
A mobile solution introduced at Turku University Hospital (Tyks) in the Southwest Finland wellbeing services county has made clinical photos part of the patient’s up-to-date clinical record. Nurses who use the solution say that photos are available more quickly, treatment assessment is easier, and collaboration between specialties is streamlined.
Changes in paediatric patients’ condition detected earlier with PEWS monitoring
In the paediatric and adolescent ward of the Central Ostrobothnia wellbeing services county, a new operating model was adopted in which the PEWS score is routinely measured for all paediatric patients. This ensures early detection of changes in the patient’s condition.
