Medanets among the finalists in the Nordic Health App Award 2023

The Nordic Health App Award 2023 took place on August 15th as a part of the political festival “Arendalsuka” in Norway. Medanets was placed among the five finalists.

The Nordic Health App Award is a new competition under the Life Science and Health Tech program organised by Nordic Innovation, an organisation under the Nordic Council of Ministers. The competition’s aim is to discover and recognize health apps from the Nordic countries and to contribute to a more accessible, personalized, and sustainable healthcare system in line with the Nordic Innovation’s 2030 Health Vision.

An evaluation panel consisting of five experts with Nordic expertise within healthcare, technology and innovation selected the five finalists: Medanets, SeeWound, Ommej, Icura, and the winner, Swedish Paindrainer. Warm congratulations to the winner and all the finalists!

The finalists won free assessment against the Nordic Digital Health Evaluation Criteria (NordDEC). NordDEC is a fast-track for evaluation and accreditation for digital health products in the Nordics. It was launched by the Nordic Interoperability Project in 2022 with co-funding from Nordic Innovation.
