Medanets completes Future State Validation at 2nd deployment site in UK
Medanets is pleased to announce the progress made at our 2nd deployment site in the UK, University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust. Medanets has successfully completed the Future State Validation where the client showcased key mobile and EHR workflows.
The Medanets team has been working together with University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust (UHCW) to design and validate workflows that would help UHCW to deliver better care. The Future State Validation (FSV) is a key event where the processes and pathways designed by clinicians are showcased to the organisation. The FSV events were well attended by more than 1,500 members of staff.
University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust is one of the UK’s largest teaching Trusts, responsible for managing two major hospitals, University Hospital in Coventry and Hospital of St. Cross in Rugby, England. The Trust serves a population of over a million people. The UHCW hospitals are teaching hospitals for Warwick Medical School.
A key component of the biggest transformation exercise in the Trust’s history
The deployment of the Medanets mobile app is a key component of the biggest transformation exercise in the Trust’s history, where they want to change the way every single person works at the Trust. The Medanets app is a key enabler of the change that is set to have a significant positive impact on clinical care. Together, Medanets and the EHR provider Cerner will enable real-time data to drive clinical decisions, improving safety, efficiency, and experience of providing care. This will help UHCW to achieve their vision of being an international leader in healthcare.
Medanets’ scope in the project includes delivering a mobile dashboard, patient overview, electronic observations, sepsis screening and escalations, bedside nursing documentation, safer handover tools like Hospital at Night, validation lists and other key workflows that complement the Cerner Millennium implementation.
