Seamless interface, secure workflow – Medanets & Apple collaborate to improve patient care
In many cases, the nursing staff find the smartphone to be the most convenient tool; it is easy to carry around and use at the bedside. Later this year, Medanets’ first customer using the Medanets app on iOS will go live.
Medanets will offer its customers the option of using its app on Apple devices along with Android devices. Based on the preferences of nurses, supported devices include various iPhone models and the iPad mini, which allow nurses to keep one hand free for other tasks.
The interface between the device and its applications is crucial to deliver the best possible user experience. Additionally, security and workflow integration are top priorities, particularly in the healthcare sector. The work of healthcare professionals is demanding, and there is no room for technological inefficiencies. The professionals must be able to trust that the tools they use will not cause interruptions to their workflow, allowing them to focus directly on patient care.
Medanets and Apple collaborate to optimise the Apple platform for the Medanets app. This collaboration is aimed at helping healthcare professionals deliver care more easily and intuitively, allowing them to focus on patient interactions rather than technology. Medanets and Apple complement each other with their expertise, which results in an even greater impact on improving overall patient care.
This collaboration is really exciting! It will unlock new opportunities for both parties. We are already envisioning interesting possibilities, particularly in markets such as the UK, Norway, and Germany.
