The New Year Begins with Growth for Medanets

The year 2018 began at a brisk pace at Medanets. In January, our team grew by two new members, which means substantial growth to our office area size as well. This growth is based on the expansion of our operations in several different areas.

Being loyal to our values, we wish to continue our support to customers and our presence in all their situations. One of these situations is the process of implementing our solutions (delivery, support and training). This task is managed by the Support & Delivery team, which has again strengthened its ranks with Antti Jaara commencing his duties at Medanets as a Support & Delivery Specialist.

Antti is a computer engineer who graduated last year. His focus on healthcare technology throughout his education together with his experience in customer support and maintenance tasks are an excellent combination of the kinds of things that working in the Medanets customer interface demands.

“This new position combines easygoing co-workers, interesting and challenging work and an excellent product into a terrific whole,” says Antti.

In order for us to keep abreast of the times and produce better solutions for nurses to access, one other person was added to our R&D team as well. Aarni Sojakka joined our company as a software developer, mainly focusing on taking the Medanets administration and reporting tool to the next level.

Aarni holds a BBA in Information Systems and has several years of work experience. He has gained experience in web and mobile design as well as in IT service management, among other things. He mentions things like nature, various sports and completing his Master’s degree as his other interests and leisure activities.

“Medanets has a good, open atmosphere and you always feel welcome,” says Aarni.

The rising number of employees is a sign and an indication of our goal, which is to expand our operations to new areas and simultaneously maintain and build existing relationships with the same passion that fuelled us when we began operations in 2004.
