Join the mobile SIG to share, learn & collaborate – chair election in the next meeting
Our customers’ collaboration platform, Special interest Group for Mobility (m-SIG) was established in the beginning of 2023. The first three meetings have provided valuable insights into improving clinical practice with the help of mobile technology. Now is a good time to join if you haven’t already!
The quarterly m-SIG is all about sharing topics related to mobile processes with your fellows. The meetings are facilitated by Medanets on Teams. In each m-SIG meeting, there is an opportunity for short presentations on customers’ stories, like your achievements, challenges, or ideas, followed by discussion. We also have a joint WhatsApp group for the participants.
You can participate in the meetings in a flexible way, as it fits your own calendar.
In the first meetings, we have been happy to see participants from all countries we have customers in: Finland, Sweden, Norway, and the UK. For example, we have heard about the customers’ experiences using a mobile solution for nurse rounding and implementing the new national MEWS on mobile. As participants, you are invited to shape the collaboration as it suits you best. You can help us make the m-SIG meeting series appealing to you by filling in the short ‘wish list questionnaire’ here.
Notice of chair election
The m-SIG meetings are be led by a chair elected among the clients. In the first meeting, Lisa Ward, Chief Nursing Information Officer from County Durham & Darlington NHS Foundation Trust, was nominated as interim chair. In the next meeting on Tuesday, 19th December, we will hold elections for the positions of chair and vice chair for the following year. You can nominate yourself or another participant in the meeting.
