Outpatients can now be found on their own patient lists in Medanets. The new feature allows that outpatients' data can be viewed and documented using the Medanets app.

The Nordland hospital group implements a robot called Nora Nord to take care of simple but time-consuming administrative tasks. In addition, Nora helps to integrate the Medanets app with multiple hospital information systems.

The 2024 Medanets User Days were held in Hotel Kakola, Turku, on 14 and 15 February. The event was attended by more than 50 participants from Finland, Norway, the UK and Germany.

The regulation on medical devices also applies to software products, such as the Medanets app. From the point of view of patient safety and smooth practical work, it is important to ensure that healthcare professionals know how to use the medical devices safely and as intended. In the wellbeing services county of Kanta-Häme, south-west Finland, competence to use the Medanets app and other medical devices is ensured with the help of 'device passports’.
