Jouko Vesterinen joined the Medanets crew

Server development expert Jouko Vesterinen joined Medanets’ S&D team in January. Jouko has extensive experience from various jobs in the IT sector. At Medanets, his official title is Service & Delivery Administrator.

Jouko has worked in the field of information technology for over ten years. Server maintenance and development are among his strongest areas of expertise, which he will be able to utilise at Medanets as well. Jouko is familiar with both Windows and Linux environments. Jouko is largely self-taught, but over the years, he has also developed his expertise through studies, including a vocational and further vocational qualification in data processing and various additional training. However, perhaps what has taught Jouko the most is the desire to take on new challenges and, to that end, the work itself.

The thirst for new challenges also landed him at Medanets. His position at Medanets includes server installations, server development and other IT tasks. Jouko is looking forward to breaking new ground in the constantly developing field of health technology and deepening his skills in the company of expert colleagues.

Like many other Medanets employees, Jouko considers the meaningfulness of work to be especially important. Jouko values being able to work on things that are important to him. “Medanets is doing important work to ease the daily life of nurses and lessen their workload, among other things,” says Jouko.

His new colleagues also positively contributed to Jouko’s decision to join Medanets. Before starting work, Jouko first met his future colleagues at the office Christmas party. Jouko already knew some of Medanets’ employees so it was easy to become part of the group.

In his free time, Jouko takes care of his health by working out at the gym and cycling in the summer. Right now, Jouko is looking forward to the approaching spring and upcoming summer events with his new colleagues.
