Medanets selected for region-wide deployment across Northern Norway, serving half a million people
Medanets has signed a regional agreement with Helse Nord, the public authority responsible for specialist healthcare services in Northern Norway. The agreement enables the use of Medanets mobile solutions across the entire region of Northern Norway, extending all the way to Svalbard. The area covers approximately 45% of Norway’s total area and serves nearly half a million residents.

The unique concept was designed and executed in cooperation with Istekki Oy to meet doctors' mobility needs. Medanets is one piece of the puzzle.
Seamless interface, secure workflow – Medanets & Apple collaborate to improve patient care
Later this year, Medanets' first customer using the Medanets app on iOS will go live. Medanets and Apple complement each other with their expertise, which results in an even greater impact on improving overall patient care.
Support from the Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment boosts Medanets’ growth and internationalisation
The North Ostrobothnia Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment granted Medanets a subsidy of about EUR 200,000 for a project which was completed at the end of 2023. The project achieved its objectives with excellent results and created three new jobs.
Mobile app supports child and adolescent care in Kanta-Häme, Finland
The app has helped to improve patient safety and flow of information between professionals. “One of the best things about the app is that you can document the information while you are with the child,” says Mari Kesälä, Head Nurse.
Ensuring medical device competence with device passports
The regulation on medical devices also applies to software products, such as the Medanets app. From the point of view of patient safety and smooth practical work, it is important to ensure that healthcare professionals know how to use the medical devices safely and as intended. In the wellbeing services county of Kanta-Häme, south-west Finland, competence to use the Medanets app and other medical devices is ensured with the help of 'device passports’.

Medanets grows strongly in the coming years – dozen of new hospitals as customers
In 2023, the Medanets app already has 30,000 users. We expect consistently strong growth also in the future. The growth enables even better services for both our current and new customers and creates new jobs.
South Ostrobothnia to expand the use of the Medanets solution
The plan is to expand the use to all of the wellbeing services county’s community hospitals. All units are set to start using Medanets Medication.
