‘Doctor’s mobile’ – a unique concept developed by the wellbeing services county of Pirkanmaa
The wellbeing services county of Pirkanmaa develops solutions that support the work of doctors. The unique concept was designed and executed in cooperation with Istekki Oy to meet doctors’ mobility needs. Medanets is one piece of the puzzle.
The ‘Doctor’s mobile’ focuses on making doctors’ work easier by reducing the risks involved in documentation, saving time and steps and providing up-to-date information on patients and instructions, regardless of location.
The mobile concept consists of various apps optimised for a specific purpose. This provides a highly advanced user experience. The Medanets features that have been or will be included in the ‘Doctor’s mobile’ are:
- Patient card
- Observation values and Early Warning Score with Graphs
- Medication
- Clinical forms
- Messaging
- Care activities
In addition, the features of the ‘Doctor’s mobile’ include digital dictation, an image function, a pocket office and various other mobile solutions that support doctors’ work and free up time for patient-centred tasks.
At the moment, the features are being developed in the second pilot phase, on the basis of feedback from the first pilot phase. The aim is to ensure that the mobile concept meets the expectations and needs of doctors in their workflows.
The initial feedback from the doctors in the pilot group is that the Doctor’s mobile would make their work easier. The group found the concept very well-developed and recognised the platform’s considerable potential for expansion. The pilot in the first phase was considered to be highly successful.
