Massive Medanets Implementations at the Central Hospital of Päijät-Häme

The Central Hospital of Päijät-Häme in Lahti implemented Medanets app in ten wards this fall. The mobile solution is expected to streamline work and improve patient safety.

The app was well received in the wards and immediately put to intensive use. In conjunction with the implementation, several increments were made to the parameters and additional information to be recorded, whereby the solution corresponds with the needs of the wards as closely as possible.

The internal medicine inpatient ward and the Stroke Unit introduced Medanets surveillance monitors with automatic data transferring as well. This helps to transfer the data from the patient monitors and telemetry directly to the patient’s journal simply by the care staff accepting the transfer.

Thank you! This has been a particularly controlled and successful implementation!

Now we have a tool, which once established, will streamline work and improve patient safety.

In the first two weeks alone, more than 11,000 mobile entries were made. When the care staff doesn’t have to leave the room to record or browse patient data, time is saved for actual nursing instead of working at the computer.
